SSIM strives to contribute to management knowledge through extension and research activities. All members of SSIM are committed to contributing to this cause. To facilitate research culture among its members SSIM provides a wide array of support services. SSIM funds faculty research, incentivise faculty contributions to research and publications, organizes research seminars, workshops and conferences, collaborates with industry and renowned institutions. SSIM has subscription to wide range of printed national and international journals, and EBSCO research database. To provide anti-plagiarism solutions to our students, faculty members and research scholars SSIM has purchased DrillBit plagiarism checker software.
To bring together researchers, academicians and practitioners, every year in the month of February SSIM organizes SAMAROH, an International Conference.
The latest initiative from SSIM towards research is SADHANA – a Research Conference exclusively for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Sadhana gives a unique opportunity for students to present their research ideas and findings to a learned audience. Sadhana exposes students to the world of research and creates a platform for budding researchers to taste the success of their research.

SuGyaan is a medium for keen researchers to publish their unpublished research findings that are of interest to the academic community and industry. It is also a medium for industry professionals to share their best practices. The journal encourages publication of application of theory to real life management activities Editorial Advisory & Review Panel: Eminent persons from the academic community and industry are guiding the journal in its Endeavour. Professors from reputed institutions from India and abroad are members of the review panel
Frequency:
The Journal is published bi-annually in the months of July and December.
Content Mix:
The journal prefers to publish conceptually sound and methodologically rigorous papers that advance the body of knowledge. The journal would publish Empirical Research Findings, Conceptual Papers, Literature Reviews, Case Studies, Synopsis of Doctoral Theses and Book Reviews, summaries of the Ph.D. thesis, round table of academicians, policymakers, industry experts on any topic relevant to present business scenario and articles on contemporary business issues.
Review Process:
SuGyaan is a referred journal. All manuscripts submitted for publication would be screened by the editor for relevance to our journal. Appropriate manuscripts would be put through ‘double-blind review process’ that may normally take four to eight weeks. Accepted manuscripts may be edited to suit the journal’s format. Wherever possible reviewer’s feedback will be provided. However, the journal has no binding to provide detailed feedback in every case including the contributions rejected.

Published manuscripts are exclusive copyright of SuGyaan, Management, Journal of Siva Sivani Institute of Management. The copyright includes electronic distribution as well.
Format and Style:
Articles should not exceed 10000 words (10-15 A-4 size pages, typed in double space) including charts, tables and other annexure.
1.) An abstract not exceeding 150 words should be included in the beginning of the paper. Manuscripts should be submitted in duplicate.
2.) Author’s name, designation, official address etc., should be mentioned only on the cover page. Author’s identity should not be mentioned anywhere else in the paper.
3.) Only those sources that are cited in the text should be mentioned. References should be listed as per the standard publication norms for journals.
4.) Tables and Figures: Their location in the text should be indicated as follows:
1.) Endnotes: All notes should be indicated by serial numbers in the text and literature cited should be detailed under reference in alphabetical order of the surnames followed by year of publications at the end of the author’s name. (Footnotes should be avoided)
2.) References: The list should mention only those sources actually cited in the text or notes. Author’s name should be the same as in the original source.
3.) In the text, the references should appear as follows: Hofstede (1983) has elucidated .. or recent studies (Frank 1993; Berry, 2001) indicate…
4.) Journal references should be listed as follows: Yagil, D (2002), Ingratiation and Assertiveness in the Service Provider-Customer Dyad. Journal of Service Research, Vol 3, Issue 2, pp 345-353.
5.) Books should be referred to as follows: Pfeffer, J. (1981). Power in Organizations, Boston, MA: Pittman.
6.) Along with the manuscript, authors should provide a declaration that article is original, not published anywhere else and not under review with any other publication.
7.) Authors will receive a complimentary copy of the journal in which their article is published.
8.) Authors have to submit a declaration stating that the paper is original and is not currently under review with any other Journal

Siva Sivani Institute of Management (SSIM) maintains highest standards of ethics in publishing the research articles, cases and book reviews in the journal. To adopt and practice highly ethical standards at all levels in the journal, SUGYAAN follows strict, fair and transparent review process across all the disciplines in management. Every manuscript accepted for publication after a thorough review process, will go for a final call with the editorial team. In the last stage, also any manuscript not fit for standards will be deleted immediately without any further thought.
To maintain highest publication standards, the following information will be communicated to the authors, before forwarding the research article/manuscript for review:
a.) The manuscript received for publication will be in the review process with the journal for period of 4 to 6 weeks. If authors are interested to keep the manuscript for review, it will be send for review.
b.) The manuscript received for the publication will be send to review panel, for a double-blind review.
c.) Every reviewer will receive a manuscript without authors name and blank review form will be attached to it. The entire review process kept confidential and with utmost care it will be completed.
d.) Reviewers are free to write their comments and offer explanations/clarifications from the authors. At this stage also reviewer’s communicate the information of the review first to the editor (or) assistant editor, through them only review comments will be communicated to the authors. Again after incorporating the review comments, authors are supposed to communicate the information either through editor (or) assistant editor. Finally, if the reviewer satisfied with the modifications, then only it will be communicated to the author through editor (or) assistant editor.
e.) Finally, publication information will be communicated to the authors through editor (or) assistant editor. After receiving the written consent from the authors for publication of their research paper in the journal, then only it will be forwarded for printing.
f.) All the printed copies of the journal will be circulated to the first authors and second authors through courier.
g. Circulation Policy and Audit : Printed copy of the SUGYAAN will be circulated to exchange list, select business schools, universities, autonomous bodies, companies etc., through courier. In addition to this a strict a circulation audit will be conducted through enquirers and conformations from the various librarians, editors of the journals. Even, if any of the members not received the copy of the SUGYAAN, with an immediate communication, the issue will be courier to the members. SSIM also maintains all the issues (2009 to till date) in the form of soft copy in the web site. It is maintained in the form open access journal.
To encourage good and quality research based publications in the journal, SUGYAAN gives highest importance for plagiarism. In the initial stage itself, the information of plagiarism will be communicated to the respective authors with the help of internet based open access tools (like PLAG TRACKER, PLAGSCAN, VIPER etc.,) for plagiarism.
VIPER is an open access free plagiarism tool, researchers, academicians, practitioners etc., can download and install into the pc. VIPER initially completes the plagiarism check in the open access data bases
