She holds Master Degree in Commerce, LL.B. from Utkal University and M.Phil from CESS affiliated to BRAOU. She hold a Ph.D. in Health Insurance from OU.She has a total teaching experience of more than a one and a half decade at UG and PG level on various subjects which include Income Tax, Mercantile Law, Banking, Auditing, Accountancy, Indian Financial System and Management of Insurance Institutions. Apart from her academic experience, she has worked as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Content Developer in the areas of Life Insurance for e-learning programs for some leading Software Companies located at Hyderabad. As a Trainer, she has conducted Domain Training Programs on Health Insurance and Life Insurance for Software professionals working in Insurance verticals of IT companies. 

She is a Resource Person for various PG programs of Osmania University. She has authored a course book titled “Technical Aspects of Insurance” for the DIRM Program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). She has presented more than 15 research papers at various National and International Seminars and has publications in various recognized journals. She has submitted her Ph.D. thesis to Osmania University.

She is a Fellow of Finance Institute of India (FIII) in Non-Life Insurance. She has a total teaching experience of more than a 18 years at UG and PG level on various subjects. Apart from her academic experience, she has worked as Subject Matter Expert(SME) and Content Developer in the areas of Life Insurance for e-learning programs for leading Software Companies located at Hyderabad. She has presented more than 20 research papers at various National and International Seminars and has publications in various recognized journals
