Establishment of Internal Complaint Committee as per Section 4 of Sexual Harassment of women at work place.
The Director is pleased to constitute an Internal Complaint Committee as per Section 4 of Sexual Harassment of women at work place for the year 2021-2022 to resolve the issues of sexual harassment with the following as its members.
The committee has to conduct awareness programs among the staff and students. The committee aims to evolve a mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases and other acts of gender based violence in the institute. The committee is responsible for all complaints of sexual harassment made:
a.) By a member of the institution against any other member irrespective of whether the harassment is alleged to have taken place within or outside the campus.
b.) By any outsider against a member of the institute or by a member of the institute against an outsider if the sexual harassment is alleged to have taken place within the campus.
c.) By a member of the institute against an outsider if the sexual harassment is alleged to have taken place outside the campus. In such cases the committee shall recommend that the institute authorities initiate action by making a complaint with appropriate authority. Committee also actively assists the complaint in pursuing the complaint.
