She holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from Osmania University and a Master’s Degree in Management with Finance specialization from Dr. B.R.A.O.U, Hyderabad. She has teaching experience of almost 13 years. She worked with ICFAI National College, Hyderabad as a faculty member and Course Coordinator (MBA). She also gained experience as a Summer Internship Coordinator and Placement In charge during her service at ICFAI.

She participated in some national and International seminars. Her areas of interest include Financial Management, Costing, Management Accounting, Project Management, Investment Management, Financial Institutions Markets and Services, and Management Control Systems. She completed her Ph.D. in the area of HRM from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
