Mr. Prakhar Singh, a 2023-25 Batch student has National Winner at the ‘Oxane Fiscal Flex Off’, the Pan India Case Study Challenge of Oxane Partners. He also received the PPI (Internship) from Oxane Partners.
Oxane Partners is a reputed company operating in the Financial Segment providing various services including deal pre-screening, due diligence, post-closure data management, portfolio management, surveillance among others.
Prakhar Singh, a Science Graduate, joined the institute just two months back. The opportunity knocked the doors of SSIM and Prakhar was one of many students grabbing a chance to get trained and participate in the competition. Being new to the field of Finance, he pushed himself and with the help of Faculty Mentors @ SSIM and various technology platforms, he is today the National Winner of the competition.

SSIM Student wins Best Poster Presentation Award @ National Youth Conference, IIT Roorkee
National Youth Congress on Indian Knowledge System (NYCIKS) is a conference organized by IIT Roorkee in collaboration with Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), an innovative cell under the Ministry of Education (MoE) at AICTE, New Delhi. SSIM student R. Bhavani Shankar of PGDM-BIFS Batch of 2022-24 participated in the Poster Presentation competition at the conference.
His research paper titled “A Systematic Review on the Impact of Vidura Neethi on Personal Growth and Well-Being” under Theme 5 of the Conference – ‘Indic Perspectives on Economics, Management, Public Administration, and Governance’ received the Best Poster Presentation Award among 400+ research paper presentations at the Conference. R. Bhavani Shankar received the award from the Honourable AICTE Chairman and Ex- alumni of IIT serving the Government of India.
Amidst the accolades and praises, Bhavani Shankar doesn’t forget to thank his SSIM faculty mentors for guiding him towards conceptualizing, presenting, and winning this prestigious award.

SSIM Student @ Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (April 27, 2023 to May 5, 2023)
The Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat initiative was announced by the Government of India to commemorate the 140th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The main objective of this initiative was to strengthen the unity and integrity of India by enhancing the understanding and mutual respect towards the culture, tradition, and practices of different states and union territories of India.
SSIM student Narishetty Balaraj, a student of 32nd PGDM batch of 2022-24, was a part of this prestigious initiative for the year 2023. He was one of the 630 students who applied for this initiative among which only 45 students were selected for taking the cultural integration trip from Telangana
(NIT Warangal) to IIT Roorkee.
The journey started at NIT Warangal and included:
- An industrial visit to Ambuja Cements;
- Cultural exchange program at the IIT Roorkee campus;
- Visit to the Aryabhatta Research Institute Of Observational Sciences (ARIES);
- Exploring IIT Roorkee campus;
- Visiting the popular religious lands of Haridwar and Rishikesh;
- Visiting the rural villages and meeting the village administrators to understand their
development initiatives
While doing this, he certainly became an integral part of the culturally rich Yuva Sangam (Youth Confluence) 2023.
